My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

It is looking so gorgeous! I'm really glad you decided to stay and remodel and that you are sharing the process with your readers instead of just before and after pics.

I'm so jealous ... it looks great. I'll trade you a two bedroom condo for your house.

So beautiful. What an exciting time for you! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Can't go wrong with Laurie... She is an amazing project manager! I love working with her. That girl has style and the best contractors!

Wow, that IS going to look beautiful! Love that the guys are being considerate and cleaning up etc when they leave. We had a bathroom remodel once and it was a disaster during the day but when those guys left everything was just like your picture. In a small neat pile, pretty much out of the way. It was something I actually didn't expect so it was nice surprise.

Don't forget pics of the kitchen when it starts. Didn't one of your earlier pictures show a pink tile countertop?? ;-)

    Blessings, C

Awesome, Ryan seems to be doing a great job, really. Your house is going to look great, I'm sure. As of right now, it looks very Greek (Greek style) from outside. Good luck with finishing it!

    Jay

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
