i will hold your breath for you...already holding your hand...

wrapping you and your hopes in warmest hugs. My heart is sad

I'm sorry Sarah. I know exactly how you feel... having been through cancellation of IVF#3/converted to IUI. I wish I had answers for you. To say it's no fun is a gross understatement.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Still have my fingers crossed for the IUI though!

I'm sorry to hear this. I had a cancelled once and it's almost as depressing as failing a cycle. I'm glad they are doing the iui.

My Good thoughts are being sent your way- I'm so sorry for the disappointment but I'm glad you're still doing the iui. Warmest wishes

I'm sorry to hear/read. I will keep you in my prayers.

Shit! I'm so sorry to hear that. I know it's incredibly disappointing but try to hold on to a glimmer of hope. Sending you tons of sticky vibes.

I had an IVF cycle cancelled; it was a horrible feeling, knowing that all the drugs could not produce even 2 decent follicles. I wish I could say something to make you feel better. I eventually went the donor egg route so you can email me if you consider this and have questions. Not sure if you want to try again, look into adoption etc.. Every option is valid and there are many ways to bring children into your life. I just wanted to experience pregnancy like "normal" women..

My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
