Here's where I'll be:
Vroman’s Bookstore695 E. Colorado Blvd.
Pasadena, CA
I'll be there because at 7 p.m. (and just so we're all on the same page, I'm talking 7 p.m., Monday, January 25th) Gretchen Rubin will be discussing her book The Happiness Project (currently at #2 on the New York Times Bestsellers List, BTW).
She'll also be signing books. That part is cool, too.
I'll certainly be bringing my copy to get signed, and if you're in L.A., I hope you'll bring yours. If you don't have one yet, I'm sure Vroman's will be happy to sell you one.
Here's why you should go: All the cool kids will be there.
And by cool kids, I mean people who are interested in being happier, in making their lives better, in smiling more, and stressing less, in figuring out who they are, in determining what they really like, who want to make the world a better place in ways big and small.
Here's another reason you should go: It'll be fun. Gretchen is smart, and interesting, and endlessly insightful. Especially when it comes to happiness.
So. Unless your life is absolutely perfect in every respect, and you couldn't possibly be happier if you tried, head over to Vroman's Monday night.
I hope to see you there. And I'm quite certain you'll be happy you went.
Pooh! This is yet another time where I have to whine that no one EVER comes to Wichita.
"Train don't run out of Wichita... unlessin' you're a hog or a cattle.
People train runs out of Stubbville. "- Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

I know, I saw that and thought about it but today's a busy day for the family.
Last book tour I went to here was....um...took my then 3yr old to see Junie B Jones. Not the author though, Junie B herself! We love those books!
