Ooh, nice! Livin' it up in NYC. :) Have a great time.

Gotta love it!

Aren't you more likely to get pregnant when you're happy? :)

My town.. are you doing a get together with your peeps while in NY?.. I'm only saying 'cause I know I would be up to it..

That never happens to me ... ( insert pouty face here )

I do love NYC though ... hope you are having a great time!

Ohhh you're in NYC! Have a great visit here.

Will you be at Gretchen's interview at the 92nd Street Y on Tuesday night?I would love to meet you!!

Eve-- If it had occurred to me that anyone would be interested in getting together, I would have set aside a night! Next time I'm in New York, I'll be more on the ball!

Amy-- No, I'm leaving Monday, unfortunately. Luckily, I got to see her in L.A., so I've had a little Gretchen fix lately!

What hotel is this?????? What floor? Beats staying with my relatives in New Jersey! Thanks for sharing.

Now - this is a hotel!! Chocolate chip cookies - how inviting?!!

Happy Valentine's Weekend!

My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
