Don't dread the 2ww. Just relax, think positively and try to be at peace during it.
I really think this is going to happen quickly for you.

The PM sounds great. I honestly have to say I didn't know there was such a thing for remodeling/construction. My husband is a Project Manager but he's always worked for big corporations.
I do like the idea of starting on the kitchen first. Get it out of the way. Wow, just think about how nice it will be when it's all done. If you don't scrapbook, maybe you should. At least make sure you take some before/after pictures.

Take care and good luck! Chris

I am definitely guilty of too much thinking and not enough doing at certain times. Once I saw the title of your blog post, I really wanted to read it.

My Brother and Sister in Law did an IUI after trying to get pregnant for a year and a half and they are due on May 15. Best of luck to you with yours - I'm hoping to hear you be cheesy soon!

Thinking good thoughts for you ... and the crystal child soul hovering by your side waiting for the IUI to kick in! (And hoping the kitchen project really takes only a month, because you're definitely going to need to eat :) With love, J

So excited for you and the IUI - the 2ww always seems long but if you're busy it will fly by! Looking forward to hearing how it all goes....

My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
