I hate to be the one who keeps thinking George belongs in YOUR house ... but he did bring you flowers ... and opening your heart to that new love, is probably helping you open your heart and ready your soul for aNOTHER new love ... anyway ... it keeps nagging at my heart and head, so I had to say it. xo

I have a dog that does that now, and my late Vizsla was a professional water dribbler. I always say they start drinking at the bowl and finish halfway across the kitchen. These dogs are seriously busy.

LOL I hate it when pets have a drinking problem. I guess there's no 12 step for them huh?

I had a pit bull that would completely submerge her head into the bucket of water and shake her head -- tipping the bucket over. I had to get one of those spiggots like for a hamster that they lick to get water because she wouldn't have any water during the summer! Crazy dog...

I agree with yogini!I think George is perfect for you.I know you can't keep him but this New Yorker is hopeful that George finds a home (with you!).

this is what i see: moose would lie, george would swear to it.
total frat move

My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
