Wonderful! Congratulations!

What wonderful news. Happy Thanksgiving -- so much to be thankful for this year and all the years going forward.

What great news. So exciting. Congrats!

Congratulations! Don't usually like to say "I told you so" but I did. ;)

Now you can seriously start thinking of names.

Actually, I don't think I did tell you - I just was certain she was a girl. Anyway, I'm very happy for you - and for her to have such a loving mother.

A girl, what a perfect match for WP's boy :) Or at least they will have a ton of fun growing up together. And even better, the news that she is full of healthy cells and growing strong!! What a happy Thanksgiving for you and yours!

Congratulations just can't be said enough!

Oh Sarah! Congratulations!
What a joy to go on this journey with you.
Now ... on to the names!

I knew it. Its it too early to plan a playdate?

Little girls are so much fun. Hell, babies are so much fun!

Blessings to you!

And HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I'm so excited for you! I just got teary-eyed! You'll have a best friend for life!

It's true ... When I look at the clothes (right!) I get a hankering for a girl. I'm so excited for you! CONGRATS AND WHOO HOO!

Yaaaaaaaaay! That's wonderful news :) Congratulations! :D

So happy for you! I know we don't know each other, but my wife (whom I might have never met if it wasn't for yours and Liz's work) have been following your blog for awhile now. Sometimes it's hard to find the patience when things we want so much seem to take forever, but how wonderful is it when finally everything comes together?
A girl! :) Congrats!

My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
