Sarah, you made a beautiful baby. I'm on this side of fertility treatment too...and you are giving voice to emotions & thoughts I couldn't find the words to say.

your beautiful family........wicked awesome!

You look gorgeous. :)

I love both of these, but the palpable love in the picture of the two of you is really extraordinary! xo

Those are great, but my favorite has to be the two of you together. I can see that one going in a place of honor on AG's bookshelf.

I love the picture of the two of you together. Lovely.

Love the starfish necklace. Your love for Violet just radiates from your face.

Such a beautiful baby is never going to take bad pictures, but the one of the two of you is just lovely.

Beautiful pictures - beautiful family!

You are both so beautiful! Love these photos!

Thrilled to see these up here.xooxxo

You both look so happy- she will love these photos when she's older.

I echo what others have already stated... they are beautiful pictures! The subjects make that even more special and the pure joy in your face, looking down at Violet is what we all feel when we look at the 2 of you! Thank you for posting these pictures.

Hi Sarah! Did you get my email? I have an old WMC addy, so not sure if it's still valid. I have some gently used G-diapers covers that I would love to give to you for Champ, if you're interested (they fit her from 6 months - 22 months, when she was out of diapers completely.) Let me know, and I'd be happy to get them in the mail to you!

My Books (with Elizabeth Craft)

  • 'Bass Ackwards and Belly Up' and 'Footfree and Fancyloose' tell the story of four best friends who commit the ultimate suburban sin: putting off college to pursue their dreams.

Publisher's Weekly said: "Full of romance and adventure, laughter and tears, the story is a reminder that veering from the straight and narrow road doesn't always lead to a dead end."

    What is Starfish Envy??

    • L.A. 2009. I’m stuck in traffic on the 101 freeway, listening to Isabella Rosselini on NPR. Isabella, for some reason, mentions that starfish are one of those rare species that can reproduce asexually, and I realize that if I could do that, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a boyfriend/husband. I wouldn’t have to internet date! I wouldn't have to figure out if I want to/can/should have a baby/adopt a baby/child on my own. I wouldn't have to stress about things like FSH levels, or weigh my feelings on in vitro versus adoption. I would just have a baby. Thus began my starfish envy.
